Tuesday- Welcome back to school!  Parent/Student information packet, ice breaker activity

Wednesday- Collect information packet (student/parent signatures), do A Puzzling Problem activity for science

Thursday- Observation activity, view "Accident at Jefferson High" lab safety video

Friday- School pictures out of science classes, go over classroom rules/procedures

Monday- Do Lab safety packet and puzzle, begin lab safety posters for classroom display.

Tuesday- Finish lab safety posters


Wednesday- Present lab safety poster, metric measurements (length) review activity and assignment, Volume and mass review-- "A Variety of Volumes" and "Mass Scavenger Hunt" labs, students need to bring in empty 2 liter bottles to make earth systems terrarium.  Need these for Tuesday.


Thursday- Finish metric review, Students receive science text, earth overview film

Friday- Fill "take notes" on atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere from 1.1, 1.1 Reinforcing Key Concepts
