Winter Teams-Girls Basketball
Girls Basketball 2024/25
For girls basketball we will have both a 7th and 8th grade team made up of 15 players on each. Tryouts will be held for both teams starting on Tuesday, 7th January.
7th grade will meet/practice in the East Gym and 8th grade will meet/practice in the West Gym

- Tuesday 7th January
- Wednesday 8th January
- Thursday 9th of January
- All tryouts are from 3:00-4:30pm here at Frost.
More information regarding tryouts and season schedule will be sent out on December 18th to all that have signed up.
MHSAA Sports Physical:
An official MHSAA or Livonia Schools (attached) sports physical must be completed and uploaded on Final Forms before the first day of tryouts. The signed and completed physical must be dated ON or AFTER April 15, 2024 in order to participate in ANY sport. No physicals will be accepted in paper form, they must be uploaded onto Final Forms. Use the Frost athletics website link provided below to access FinalForms, and see step by step instructions on how to complete this process. If this is not completed by the first day of tryouts, that student will not be allowed to participate.

Practices *If school is not in session there is NO practice
- All practices are from 3:00 – 4:30pm
- Days depend on if 7th or 8th grade
- Full schedule will be sent out to families that signup
What you need to provide/purchase:
-Appropriate basketball practice clothing
-Online team store information will be emailed home to those that make the team - all purchases are optional
Transportation
There will NOT be buses to away events. You are responsible for getting your child from school to their event. Parents are welcome to communicate for ride sharing!
* All home games and Livonia vs. Livonia games start at 4:00pm.
* For many out of district away games: 7th grade at 4:00pm, 8th grade immediately after, approximately. 5:15pm.
Pay to Participate
There is a ONE-TIME pay to participate fee of $100 ($50 for reduced lunch, $25 for free lunch). This fee is due AFTER TRYOUTS. Fees must be paid online through Payschool. The link is on the FMS website and provided below: https://www.schoolpay.com/
