7th & 8th Girls Volleyball

Welcome to Frost's Volleyball Program! Please find important information regarding our 2025/26 school year season below!

Tryout Information

  • Tryout Dates: August 25th (Monday), August 26th (Tuesday), and August 27th (Wednesday)
  • Time: 3:00-5:00 PM
  • Location: Frost East Gym (7th Grade) and Frost West Gym (8th Grade)

You must attend all three tryout days. Students should sign up in advance using the Google Form that will be send out to parents at the start of August.

Team Information

  • 7th Grade Team (15 players)
  • 8th Grade Team (15 players)

Athletic Physical Requirement

All student-athletes must have a current MHSAA physical form on file in Final Forms before the first day of tryouts. Please see the Physical Information tab for more details.

Practice Schedule

Practices run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

  • 7th Grade Practice Time: 3:00-4:30 PM
  • 8th Grade Practice Time: 3:00-5:00 PM

Families are expected to have a ride ready for pick up at the end of practice. Repeated late pickups could result in removal from the tea.

Uniform & Gear

All volleyball athletes will be provided a Frost Volleyball jersey that they are expected to wear to all games. All athletes must bring their own plain black volleyball shorts (minimum 4-inch inseam).

Information for Spirit Wear will be sent out to all families of those athetes that make the team!

Game Times & Details

  • All home games & Livonia vs. Livonia games start at 4:00 PM (both 7th and 8th grade)
  • Some out of district schools only use one gym, so the 7th grade games starts at 4:00 PM and the 8th grade game at approximately 5:00 PM immediately following the 7th grade game.

    • 7th starts at 4pm, 8th starts approx. 5 pm

    • Both games start at 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, October 1st - HOME - Hillside Middle School
    • Both games start at 4:00 PM
  • Monday, October 6th - HOME - Emerson Middle School

  • Wednesday, October 8th - AWAY - McBride Middle School
    • 7th grade starts at 4:00 PM
    • 8th grade starts at approximately 5:00 PM
